How we got here

A firm built on doing right by people

Michael Knollmeyer founded this firm in 1986 on a simple belief: everyone deserves quality legal representation they can actually afford. Forty years later, that is still what the place runs on.

We have helped thousands of Arkansas families through divorce, custody fights, bankruptcy and disability claims. Clients do not come to us because we are the biggest firm. They come because we treat them like people rather than case numbers.

In practice that means three things. We answer your calls. We explain things in plain English. And we fight hard for the best outcome we can honestly get you.

In Michael's own words: "My greatest professional achievement is earning the respect of clients, the courts and colleagues for several decades. Honesty, from the first meeting through the verdict, is the best policy for dealing with clients."

Why families trust us

What forty years actually buys you

Not a marble lobby. It buys judgment: knowing which fights are worth having, which arguments a particular court will not entertain, and when the honest answer is that you do not need a lawyer yet.

It also buys a team that has stayed. Several of the people working your file have been here for twenty years or more, which is unusual and is the reason nothing gets dropped in a hand-off.

  • Honest advice from the first meeting
  • Affordable, clearly explained rates
  • An experienced team, not a call center
  • Five convenient Central Arkansas locations
